Course Description

In this course, we examine process-related issues to determine whether a non-conformance exists. Through structured investigation, learners will review the entire process, document findings in a non-conformance report, and analyze contributing factors.

Using Lean tools, we will identify the root cause, develop solutions to address the non-conformance, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. This course provides a systematic approach to improving processes and ensuring long-term compliance and quality control.

This Course Includes:

  • Instructional Videos – Engaging content to guide your learning
  • 10-Question Quiz – Assess your knowledge and understanding
  • Challenge Question – Apply problem-solving skills to resolve a non-conformance dilemma
  • Course Assignment – Practice the step-by-step process for addressing and preventing non-conformances.

Course Agenda

  • Introduction to Non-Conformance
  • Defining Non-Conformance – Understanding its impact and implications
  • Lean Tools, Concepts, and Principles – Techniques for process improvement
  • Conducting a Corrective Action – Steps to identify and resolve issues
  • Implementing Preventive Actions – Strategies to prevent recurrence
  • Course Assignment – Applying learned concepts in a practical exercise.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Implement effective preventive strategies to reduce the risk of recurrence. the end of this course the learner will be able to perform the following:
  • Define non-conformancecorrective actionpreventive action, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify key problem-solving tools, including the Cause and Effect Diagram5 Whys, and other analytical methods.
  • Explain the root cause analysis process and its role in problem resolution.
